Chad Cutler is a Canadian illustrator, living variably in Kenora, Ontario and Toronto, Ontario. He was educated in Toronto at the Ontario College of Art and Design from 2005 to 2009. Currently, he is attending Humber College for Multimedia 3D Animation. |
The image of Ivan (the bomb) was developed in high school as part of a short-lived number of film projects he was doing with a friend, who has since gone on to study film. Ivan was what became of their logo idea, after it was proposed that "it should be a bomb or something". After things stopped happening, the image remained, being officially named Ivan Baumerdaud in 2003/2004, after a lengthy period of being referred to simply as "The bomber-dude up in the corner". |  |
